We always take any opportunity we can to visit our friends at The Ham Yard. This time we decided to make the most of it and “sample” their Festive Afternoon Tea. Here’s a rundown of what we ate.. and drank.
We were seated at a little corner table with booth style seating that was laid out perfectly with hand designed china.
One thing I always say (and love) about Firmdale, is that Mrs Kemp (Kit Kemp) owner of Firmdale Hotels designs most of their interiors, whether it be wallpapers, fabrics, china or even toiletries! She is a very talented lady. This stunning china collection produced by Wedgwood is available to purchase online here. They really are the perfect Christmas gift.
We started our day with Festive Cocktails,
They were Prosecco and Vanilla Syrup, really different and refreshing! Perfect for getting our palettes ready for our Afternoon Feast.
We were given our menus, and a little taster of what we were in store for..
Price wise for a London Afternoon Tea i’d say that the Ham Yard is fantastic value, and you really are left so so full.
Nothing could prepare us for the beautiful stand that arrived covered with Festive treats! We were also offered a choice of complimentary tea’s Camomile, English Breakfast and Early Grey. They do have other tea’s available such a jasmine loose leaf (pictured above).
Now to try and list everything for all of you interested parties…
Ok, starting from the bottom, (hopefully our memory serves us well)…

The Surroundings
The Ham Yard is a stunning hotel but incorporated with a Festive feel it felt even more homely, so we took a few pictures to show you all..
